Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
5. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce before serving.
Notes
This recipe can easily be doubled for larger gatherings. Serve with coleslaw or on hamburger buns for a tasty sandwich.
