Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
2️⃣ In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
3️⃣ In another bowl, mix vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar until smooth.
4️⃣ Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
5️⃣ Divide batter evenly between the prepared cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely.
6️⃣ For the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, then beat until fluffy.
7️⃣ Frost the cooled cake layers and decorate as desired.
