Ingredients
– 2 8-ounce packages softened cream cheese
– 6 ounces drained green olives with pimento
– 1 cup mayonnaise
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 3 tablespoons olive brine (optional)
Instructions
1. In a food processor, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Pulse until the mixture is creamy and smooth, making sure there are no lumps.
2. Add in the garlic powder and onion powder, blending until evenly incorporated. Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed for your preference.
3. Carefully add the drained green olives to the mixture. Blend gently until the olives are well distributed throughout the dip, creating a chunky texture.
4. If you desire a thinner consistency, gradually add the olive brine, starting with one tablespoon. Blend until you’ve reached your preferred creaminess.
5. Transfer the dip to your serving dish, and if you’d like, garnish with a few whole olives or a sprinkle of fresh herbs for a lovely touch. Serve immediately or refrigerate for an hour to let the flavors meld together!
