Ingredients

– 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
– 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
– 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Optional: Chopped walnuts for garnish

Instructions

1. Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the pears by halving each one and carefully scooping out the cores to create a nice little well in the center.
3. Arrange the pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish. Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the pears.
4. Stuff each pear half with crumbled feta and chopped cranberries, pressing down gently to fit them snugly into the wells.
5. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the feta becomes warm and slightly melty.
6. Once out of the oven, drench the warm pears with honey and sprinkle fresh thyme over the top. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
7. For an added touch of crunch, feel free to sprinkle chopped walnuts on top before serving.
